The options process has begun having launched the first of a number of events to help guide our Year 9 students in making their option choices. The process began at the Year 9 Parents Evening, where students and parents had the opportunity to speak to staff members about progress and suitability for continuing study on a GCSE course.  Here is the timeline of events to run through the Options process:

Key Dates

• Thursday 26th February – Year 9 Assembly on new subjects and the options process
• Thursday 5th March – Year 9 Assembly on new subjects and the options process
• Thursday 5th March – Options Evening, held in the Old Block Library and ground floor rooms, runs from 6:00–8:00pm. All subjects will be represented.
• Thursday 12th March – Year 9 Assembly introducing a trial run of the options process. A Microsoft Form will be sent out, with a deadline of Monday 16th March for completion.
• 27th March – Final options forms issued
• 13th April – Deadline for students to submit their options
• 20th April – Timetable construction begins
