The options process has begun having launched the first of a number of events to help guide our Year 9 students in making their option choices. The process began at the Year 9 Parents Evening, where students and parents had the opportunity to speak to staff members about progress and suitability for continuing study on a GCSE course. This event was followed by information assemblies where subjects delivered information about their GCSE specifications to students. A further parental event took place on Thursday 20th March, at 6.00pm, following the distribution of the options booklet which gave parents, carers and students an opportunity to understand the options process and what GCSE and vocational courses are available.
