Matthew Needler has been recognised for his expertise in the field of machinima, a real-time, 3-D graphic technique used to generate computer animations.

After seeing his work on YouTube, a Los Angeles-based company, machinima.com, recently contacted Matthew. The company, which reaches out to “a very select group of creators who clearly have great talent”, will pay Matthew to create exclusive content for the company, including video games.

Matthew has also recently been named  as one of the winners in computer game company Bungie’s Mythic Map Trailer competition. His winning work is showcased on the front page of  the company’s website.
