Cottingham High School sixth formers were celebrating one of the school’s best ever set of A level results today.
|% of entry achieving A grades (A*-A)||25%|
|% of entry attaining A*-C grades||83%|
|% of entry attaining grades A*-E||100%|
Headteacher, Scott Ratheram said, “I am delighted for students and staff that their hard work over the last two years has paid off. To achieve 100% pass rate for the first time, with over 8 out 10 of all grades at C or above is an exceptional performance.”
Mrs Westcott, Head of Post 16 Education said, “It is really pleasing to see that a quarter of grades awarded were the top A*-A grades and 83% of all grades were A*-C. Our students have been successful in gaining the grades they require to follow their chosen pathways with many going on to take up places at the top universities in the country.”
These results confirm that Cottingham High School has a very strong Sixth Form and are a reflection of continuing effective consortium partnership working with Hessle High School and Wolfreton School.
We have a number of extremely high performing students who achieved A* and A grades at A2 Level.
