CHS Student’s Rugby Success

Callum Chapman is a student at Cottingham High School, and is doing particularly well in rugby, with two professional teams showing an interest in him.  He recently gave us the following interview:

At what age did you start playing rugby?

I started playing at 6 years old.

Did someone inspire you to play?

I have been inspired by my family especially my grandad because he always gets me going for a match.

What position do you play at West Hull?

I play ‘Loose Forward’.

How often do you have to train?

I train twice a week playing rugby and I go to the gym twice a week too.

Where would you like to be in 2 years?

Hopefully I will be playing for a professional team.

Where would you like to be in 10 years?

In 10 years I would like to be playing for Hull FC.
