The new Creative and Media Diploma has taken off at Cottingham High School, with 14 students from two schools working together. The Diplomas are designed to provide students with an interdisciplinary approach to a variety of subjects; our Creative and Media Diploma utilises the strengths of our Media Arts specialism. In their first year, students learn about the music business, marketing, sculpture and film. The course is delivered by Art and Media teachers with the support of industry specialists. The Diploma students will use the skills they have developed to create an art and  video installation as a community project for Cottingham Day. The finished product will be displayed in Cottingham Civic Hall to showcase the work of the students and celebrate the concept of ‘Cottingham Now’.
