THIS year, it is vitally important we accomplish the Green Team’s mission, which is – sustainability!

Our aim is to make our environment more appealing, a better place in which to work and more environmentally friendly, as well as helping the school to save money.

In our bid to win the Silver Eco-Schools Award, we are focusing on paper recycling, waste disposal, composting and energy reduction.

One of our main concerns is seagulls, which are attracted to the school by the large amount of litter that is not deposited in bins. To address this, students must take responsibility for their own litter as well as the litter around them. We are working on other solutions, and will let you know what these are as soon as possible.
